Working With An Auto Dealer

About a year ago, I realized we were going to need to invest in a new family vehicle. The car that we had was dying fast, and I was worried about my wife getting to and from all of the places that she needed to travel. We started looking around for different places to shop, and I found an auto dealer that was absolutely incredible. I worked with them to negotiate a fair price for the car, and I learned a few tricks along the way. This blog is all about negotiating effectively with an automotive dealer, so that you don't end up with buyer's remorse.

Tips To Stay Out Of The Auto Body Shop This Fall Season

by Milla Halko

The fall brings with it changing colors and falling leaves. But if you are a driver out on the road, it's those falling leaves and possibly some other road conditions unique to the season that you might need to worry about. The fall season may require some careful driving in certain situations if you want to keep your vehicle in one piece and avoid an accident that could put your vehicle into the auto body shop. Here are some fall car and driving tips to keep in mind as the season begins to change.

Leaves Can Cover Up Oil and Other Road Hazards

Those changing colors on the trees can be quite a sight, and there's nothing quite like the sound of crunching leaves underfoot as you walk through your yard or the local park. But leaves ending up on the road can be an entirely different story. It's possible that the pile of leaves you see in the middle of the road is hiding something underneath. Maybe the leaves stuck to that specific spot because there's an oil spill. Maybe there's a few thumbtacks or something else sharp just waiting to shred your tires. The point is, steer clear of any leaf piles you see on the road because you don't want to end up getting an unpleasant surprise that could cause you to lose control of your vehicle.

Beware of Busy Parents

The return of fall also means the return of school for children in the area. But let's be honest, it's not just the kids who are going to see their schedule change. The kids' parents will also have a much busier day to day lives, trying to get their kid to school in the morning or to an after school activity while still managing their full-time job. Beware of the speeding minivan desperately trying to get to the school or the office on time. If you see someone speeding, remember, it's not a race. Give these individuals a wide berth on the road and keep your own vehicle out of danger.

Keep On Top of Your Tire Pressure

A drop in temperature can bring changes to your tire pressure. Get your tires topped off to the right temperature at the start of the season and then stay focused on keeping them at the correct measurement every other time you go to the gas station to fill up. Proper tire pressure can help you respond quicker out on the road and maintain control of your car.
